train tickets must be booked
at least 1 week in advance of
your first day of
stay. We accept no
responsibility for tickets
not arriving in time and no
compensation will be made
however, once received the
ticket can be utilised for a
future journey, at any time,
within the validity life of
the ticket (between 1 January
2008 and 30 June 2008).
Please
take note of the following
terms and conditions printed
on the reverse of the train

The

valid as part of an
approved package.

Not
valid on Millennium
Stadium event
dates, please check
dates before travel
with your
accommodation
provider.

Exclusively
for use on First
Great Western
services only, from
London Paddington
and Reading to
South Wales, and on
Arriva Trains Wales
services between
Swansea and
Carmarthen.

Travel
from London
Paddington or
Reading is
available to
Newport, Cardiff
Central, Bridgend,
Port Talbot
Parkway, Neath,
Swansea, Llanelli,
Penbrey & Burry
Port, Kidwelly,
Ferryside and
Carmarthen.

For
stations west of
Swansea, customers
may need to change
at Swansea Station
onto Arriva Trains
Wales local train
services to
stations listed
above.

Only
valid in Standard
accommodation,
although a Weekend
First upgrade can
be purchased on the
train, subject to
availability, for a
supplement payable
to the Train
Manager for travel
on Saturdays and
Sundays.

This
permit to travel is
non-refundable and
non-exchangeable,
unless your journey
is subject to delay
or cancellation
when you will be
compensated for the
rail element of the
package in
accordance with
First Great
Western's Passenger
Charter and
National Rail

Carriage. In

Transfers to and from Craig-y-Nos
Castle are not included in this

Useful
Local Travel Information
Train
Stations - stations
stopped at include Cardiff,
Bridgend, Swansea, Neath,
Carmarthen. The
nearest train station is
NEATH (10 miles from
Castle)
Buses
- There is a regular bus
service from Swansea and
Neath to Craig-y-Nos
Castle. The "Red
Viola" bus from Neath
costs just £1.20 (single),
and leaves Neath every 15
minutes past the hour at
the bus stop outside the
train station.
*Please note that there is
no bus services from the
Castle on Sundays and Bank
Holidays.
Taxis
- There are taxi ranks
immediately outside all the
train stations. A
taxi from Neath to Craig-y-Nos
Castle currently costs
approx. £25. Private
hire taxi services are also
available (please check
rates directly with
suppliers. *Please
note that most taxi
services charge a premium
on Bank Holidays.
